Overview
The MONTREAL HIGH LIGHTS Festival is one of the largest winter festivals in the
world, annually gathering 900,000 celebrants out to enjoy culture, restaurants and wintertime in Montreal to
the fullest, via an unusual and incredibly varied schedule divided into three programs
and two major events:
The Wine and Dine Experience, unique in the world for its concept of "pairings",
allowing fans to encounter the finest chefs from Montreal and from five continents
of cuisine, and for its multitude of activities celebrating gastronomy and wine.
The Performing Arts program, spotlighting the best in dance and song, theatre and
the circus arts. Eleven days of exciting new discoveries, never-before-seen creations
and dazzling performances by artists from here and abroad.
The Celebration of Light, turning the Quays of the Old Port and the Old Montréal into the must-see February family rendez-vous! A ton
of free activities served up al fresco!
The High Lights Event, a free outdoor multimedia spectacle fusing the circus arts,
pyrotechnics, acrobatics, projections and musical performances, starring one hundred
acrobats, musicians, dancers, percussionists and fire handlers. Wow!
The Nuit blanche à Montréal, with a slate of 175 activities,
most of them free and linked by a free shuttle service. The entire city is lit up
for an entire night, offering up a program of wildly diverse and delightful winter
fun and frolic!
