For the past 20 years, Les FrancoFolies de Montréal has been the true
reflection of a thriving French-speaking music world! Nearly 70 indoor shows
and 180 free outdoor concerts attest to the effervescent quality, diversity
and energy of a music-rich, fun-filled program!
Every year, Montrealers and tourists throng to the safe, festive FrancoFolies site
for an entire 11 days in the downtown core, to savour the best musical talents
of the Frenchspeaking world. Let's tell it like it is: Montreal is the place to
let loose!
Les Francos in Montreal means 250 shows featuring the most diverse musical
trends, 1,000 songwriters, composers, musicians and performers from 15 countries,
a multitude of free open-air extravaganzas… and millions of little thrills
along the way!
All this in the downtown heart of America's biggest French-speaking city on a safe
site reserved for pedestrians only, offering all possible amenities and non-stop
entertainment. In short, much more than just a festival, this musical celebration
is a veritable lifestyle!
